In the open horizon, you can admire - further to the beach and the statue-like rock formations (Buddha or Sphinx) - the Sporades Islands (Skiathos, Skopelos and Alonisos) and, when the visibility is really good, you can even see the peak of Mt. Athos, in the Chalkidiki region.

During the night, visibility is usually superb, thereby affording you the possibility of studying... astronomy! Through the clear night-skies you can observe:

• the milky way;
• the Big and Small Dipper;
• the Cassiopeia Formation;
• the Pleas Formation;
• our galaxy;
• the Andromeda Galaxy;
• planets, such as Venus, Mars and Jupiter;
• various satellites.
