In a survey conducted by "The Guardian", Mourtias ranked 17th amongst 101 of the best holiday resorts worldwide. Below is an excerpt of the article published on the newspaper's Web site, on the 5th of January 2002: This is a beautiful, isolated beach with pure water, pale sand and weird rock formations. The nearest village is 20 minutes' drive away, but an isolated taverna provides respite from the midday sun. Villa Anastasia is completely off the beaten track on a grassy hillside overlooking the beach, and with a saltwater swimming pool. The villa is divided into 4 apartments that can be taken separately or together.
